Weight Loss > How to find best diet - The balanced diet

Balanced diet equation - I am surprised by the number of researches carried on to arrive at the best diet equation. Millions of dollars are spent to find the diet combination that provides energy to a person but does not add to his weight. I have seen various people around me who eat a lot yet do not gain weight, while others gain excess weight without having much food.

The concept of balanced diet differs from one person to another. For a person who does work involving physical exertion will require more of fats and carbohydrates. However, it should not be taken in excess as it will lead to fat accumulation. For people who are required to mainly do mental work, more of minerals and vitamins should be added to their diet.

Fiber and roughage should be necessarily included in your diet as they help in bowel movement. Irrespective of the nature of your work, two to three fruits should be taken everyday. In addition to fruits, green vegetables and cereals should be taken.

To digest your food, any physical activity like walking should be done regularly. Thus, your balanced diet equation should be formulated considering the metabolism rate of your body and the nature of work you do.
