JLo says that she watches what she eats. She knows what's good for her, and she knows what's bad for her. She tries to stay away from the bad things, but like anybody she indulges once in a while. Whenever she is trying to lose weight, her secret is that she just cut carbohydrates from her diet. She mainly focuses on eating salads and meat. She also insists on a healthy diet and plenty of sleep to stay looking in top shape.

She also has a personal coach in LA, and she has also started taking yoga and aerobics sessions for keeping in the healthy shape.  Jennifer says when she was younger, she was into tough physical work out, but now what's more important to her is finding a equilibrium of mind, body and spirit. She still does weights and cardio, but takes a soft, feminine approach and is not fanatical.

Concerning her weight loss diet, JLo says that she does not have anything forbidden from her diet and she is not one of the health freaks who believe in not eating any sugar or leaving dairy foodstuffs out. She eats almost everything, just in control. She says that these days she is consuming a lot of salads and she is a  big meat-eater, which she brings from her childhood.

Jennifer says she makes sure to draw one very strict line. She says, "I don't drink, never, and I don't smoke and don't do drugs," she stresses. "I never started drinking or smoking.
