Cellulite
Cellulite referes to the bumps in the skin made by too many fat cells growing too large and stretching the natural fiber compartments which hold the skin to the underlying layers of tissue. Cellulite is the fatty deposits that cause a dimpled or uneven appearance of the skin, usually around the thighs and buttocks.
Though diet and exercise can reduce cellulite, a large part of cellulite is comprised of toxins and fat that accrue within the body. Cellulite can affect men and women of any body weight or size. It shows in form of deposits of subcutaneous fat and fibrous tissue that cause a dimpling effect on the overlying skin. It is the fat that is deposited in pockets just below the surface of the skin.
One can check to see if she or he has cellulite by pinching the skin around your upper thigh. If it looks a bit lumpy, you probably have it. Most girls and women - and some men - have cellulite. Whatever may be the cause of cellulite, it's important to know that there aren't any miracle products, treatments, or medicines that can make it go away. If you decide that you want to try to reduce the amount of cellulite you have, the best thing to do is to decrease excess body fat.
